Celebrate George Inness’ 200th Birthday in Nature!

Stroll through a special outdoor exhibition of landscape paintings by one of America's greatest 19th-century artists – George Inness. See the pieces inspired by the natural beauty of Montclair, which Inness called home from 1885-1894. In partnership with the Montclair Art Museum – which will reopen on May 16 with a new rotation of his paintings, alongside video interviews featuring Indigenous artists and scholars.

A special docent talk will take place May 10 (raindate May 17) to honor his enduring artistic legacy.
